Marrakesh is located at Podil, the historic part of the city. Intricate authentic Maghreb-style interior is combined in its walls with European dish serving. Basic colors of the interior are ethnic Moroccan colors such as ochre, ultramarine, azure, brass, subdued hues of gold. Everywhere there are traditional motifs such as paintings, stained glass artworks, arched windows, as well as elements of the Northern African urban landscapes. Restaurant halls harmoniously complement each other. Walls draped with Maghreb carpets, bright multicolor pillows, cherry poufs, secluded alcoves and chill-out music create a special mood of lightness. Kalian room designed due to the canons of Moroccan architecture presents to its visitors a rich palette of Maghreb flavors. Lovely knick-knacks like bronze kettles, tiny porcelain cups, original candlesticks in the form of glass fishes and lizards complement the entourage.
From 17-00 in the restaurant there sounds light lounge music with oriental motifs, and in the evenings guests will enjoy the saxophone performance.
Spicy cuisine incorporating the traditions of different cultures – Berber, Arabic, French – will be appreciated by for those who want to add a little spice to this evening. It will be recommended to start a meal with one of Moroccan soups, for example, saturated 'Chorba' soup with lamb, veal, fresh vegetables and greens. And then get acquainted with the rich colorful variety of Moroccan gastronomy. Try one of the national dishes: lamb with almonds and honey or veal with chickpea, eggplants and olives, or Couscous (with meat, poultry or vegetables). A sweet tooth can find in the dessert card many delicious recipes of Oriental longevity. For example, carrots marinated in orange juice, dates stuffed with nuts, baklava with nuts and honey or Hamadzha (dates, apricots, raisins, figs and nuts). Finish your meal with a cup of fragrant tea or kalian, as it is common in Eastern countries.
